In September 2026, I made a little detour to Copenhagen while visiting my parents in Midtjylland — and the city gave me more than I expected.
The bike rides, the harbor, the food, the coffee shops, the shopping, and even Isabel from my Airbnb became part of an experience I won’t forget.
But it was the vibrant colors of the houses along Nyhavn that stopped me. There’s something almost unreal about seeing them lined up along the water — each one different, yet somehow belonging perfectly beside the next. I wanted to capture that feeling and bring a little piece of Copenhagen home with me.
This photograph is my memory of that moment: colorful, lively, and unmistakably Copenhagen.
