Since moving to Washington, D.C., I’ve had the pleasure of truly getting to know the city, and Georgetown has become one of my favorite places.
There’s something about it that feels special—the water, the historic streets, the view across the Potomac, the shops, the bikes passing through, and, of course, a stop at Yellow for coffee. It’s a part of D.C. where the city somehow feels both busy and slow at the same time.
And then there was this Porsche.
To me, this photograph captures a small glimpse of luxury - not necessarily the kind you have to own, but the kind you can simply experience by being there. You can walk past a beautiful car, grab a coffee, sit by the water, watch people go by, and for a moment just enjoy the life happening around you.
Sometimes luxury is simply being present enough to notice it.
