Copenhagen has a way of making even the cold feel beautiful.

After walking and biking through the city, catching the smell of fresh coffee from Norange, stopping for smørrebrød, and taking in Copenhagen at its own pace, I found this pool tucked into the river.

The water was freezing. But jumping in became one of my favorite moments in the city.

There was something incredibly beautiful about being surrounded by the water, the architecture, and the quiet rhythm of Copenhagen — cold enough to take your breath away, but beautiful enough to make you forget about it.

This photograph captures that moment for me: sometimes the best way to experience a place is to jump right into it.
